Argumentative Introductions
Paragraph 1 (Sugar)
Studies show one third of the American population under 18 are overweight, but most teens would still jump at the chance to snack on cookies, chips, and candy. However, perhaps many of them will no longer be subject to this opportunity. Congress has been recently juggling the options of banning junk food from being sold in schools. Because any student could get sugary sweets somewhere else, the parent body should be responsible for looking after their children's diet, and the money can pay for school activities, this decision would be in vain. Congress should decide against banning junk food from schools.

Paragraph 2 (Bullies)
Today, thousands of young adults commit suicide, but their voices are never heard or the causes justified. In most cases, the causes that led the teen to take their own life was the high school bully. With this in mind, it is only logical to mark such bullies as criminals. Bullying ruins lives, and it’s not as if those inflicting it don’t know what they are doing. Furthermore, there are laws against such harassment. Bullies, no matter the age, should be considered criminals and dealt with accordingly.

Paragraph 3 (Space Vacation)
For generations, man had looked to the stars and dreamed of being among them. A mere 517 people on earth have fulfilled that dream. However, Virgin Galactic has announced a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: a three hour vacation among the heavens. This idea is revolutionary, but still needs work. A large percentage of the men and women who have ventures on space missions have died, even though they were trained astronauts. Furthermore, the tickets are upwards of $200,000, and the forces of motion that the passengers will be subject to could be very uncomfortable, even dangerous. Outer space could someday be a great vacation spot, but presently, space travel cannot become commercially available.
